AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Beginning this weekend (May 25), there are walk-through metal detectors at DTE Energy Music Theater entrances.
That’s right: If you’re going to the Dierks Bentley concert Sunday night, you will have to walk through a metal detector before you can get inside the music theater. And you can expect to do this for the rest of the summer concert season at DTE Energy Music Theater, which many affectionately still refer to as Pine Knob.
In a news release, the music theater said these walk-through metal detectors will be “more efficient” and “less-invasive” than the hand-wanding method they’ve been using.
